A study for the man of the house

My brief: A hideaway for the man of the house to escape to, so I created him this sanctuary. Masculine tones of grey and black with the lifting shades of cream certainly meet the brief.

I found this stunning two-tone wall paper by Zoffany (one of my favourite designers) called Facade. I've placed it on one wall to give maximum impact and to set off the dark furniture.

The grey furniture has been custom built to suit the space, yet free standing to move around if required.

The luxurious interlined cream curtains from the Harlequin range bounce the light into this room. Hung from dark oak pole and finished with a gorgeous black tieback.

Pictures were chosen to compliment my clients place of birth and the finished room is more than he had ever imagined.
