My brief: A hideaway for the man of the house to escape to, so I created him this sanctuary. Masculine tones of grey and black with the lifting shades of cream certainly meet the brief. I found this stunning two-tone wall paper by Zoffany (one of my favourite designers) called Facade. I've placed it on one wall to give maximum impact and to set off the dark furniture. We took our flowers and houses to market and what a lovely day we had. So many people came and so many lent to smell the flowers, that's how real they look!
